In booking this IPSF Training course you are deemed to have read and agreed to the following terms and conditions; these terms and conditions of study will apply to all Students, unless otherwise agreed in writing:

These Terms and Conditions in addition to the Website Terms of Use apply to the sale of any course. Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before purchasing a course and print off a copy for your records. IPSF Training will not file or otherwise keep a copy of the agreement concluded between you and IPSF Training and a copy of the concluded agreement will not be available from IPSF Training at a future time and date. By ordering a course, you are confirming your agreement to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. The Terms and Conditions are in two sections; Course Specific Terms and Conditions and General Terms and Conditions; both will apply to students of each course The IPSF scoring system as well as all IPSF documents and policies have been copy written. This means that only IPSF affiliated and approved competitions will be permitted to use the scoring system with IPSF certified judges.

COURSE SPECIFIC TERMS AND CONDITIONS

IPSF Level 1 Certificate in Competition Organisation Training.

1) Acknowledge that this training is mandatory for competition endorsement; competitions will not be IPSF endorsed without a course certificate being held by at least one competition organiser.

2) Acknowledge that changing, adapting and using the IPSF scoring system without granted permission from the IPSF is strictly forbidden.

3) Acknowledge that all information received in the training programme is confidential and may not be used to create your own scoring system.

4) Acknowledge that only successful completion of the IPSF Level 2 Judges Pole Sports Training course will certify you to judge at IPSF competitions. This Competition Organisers training course is an educational programme and NOT a judges training course.

5) Acknowledge that all IPSF materials and information you receive on the IPSF scoring system are sole property of the IPSF and may not be retained, distributed or copied by you.

6) Acknowledge that failure to comply with any of the above-mentioned points will be subjected to disciplinary action.

7) Acknowledge that this training is solely for the purpose of understanding IPSF competition organisation instructor/teacher/coaches training to teach others.

8) Acknowledge that IPSF Training reserves the right to move the course dates if the course has not met the minimum numbers as stated in section 6 of General Terms and Conditions.

9) Acknowledge this course will run for approximately 3 hours. The course will be via video conferencing. You must log into the system via the link prior to the start time to confirm your connection and set up. You will need a high speed internet connection, a computer and a quiet place to take part in the course. You must be fluent in the language the course is being held in.

10) Acknowledge that IPSF Training cannot be responsible for the learners internet connection. No refunds will be given if your connection is unstable during the training. It is at the discretion of IPSF-Training whether or not you can be transferred to another course.

11) Acknowledge that all course content will be from IPSF LTD which is endorsed as training provider for the IPSF.

12) Acknowledge that this course is free for endorsed competitions. However, should you miss your course date without informing the IPSF 2 weeks prior to the course you will be charged £100 to re take the course.

13) Acknowledge that all competitions organisers must take the course regardless of their prior experience.

14) Acknowledge that failure to take this course will mean suspension of your competition.

15) Acknowledge that all competitions organisers who have previously run IPSF competitions must book their date by the 30th September. If they do not the competition will be opened to others to host or the athletes will be allowed to attend an open competition.

IPSF Level 1 Certificate in Code of Points Training.

16) Acknowledge that changing, adapting and using the IPSF scoring system without granted permission from the IPSF is strictly forbidden.

17) Acknowledge that all information received in the training programme is confidential and may not be used to create your own scoring system.

18) Acknowledge that only successful completion of the IPSF Level 2 Judges Pole Sports Training course will certify you to judge at IPSF competitions. This Code of Points training course is an educational programme and NOT a judges training course.

19) Acknowledge that all IPSF materials and information you receive on the IPSF scoring system are sole property of the IPSF and may not be retained, distributed or copied by you.

20) Acknowledge that failure to comply with any of the above-¬mentioned points will be subjected to disciplinary action.

21) Acknowledge that courses may be refunded or transferred according to the rules stated in the IPSF Training Cancellation Policy and section 20 of General Terms and Conditions.

22) Acknowledge that this training is solely for the purpose of understanding the basic of the IPSF code of points and is in no way instructor/teacher/coaches training to teach others.

23) Acknowledge that IPSF Training reserves the right to move the course dates if the course has not met the minimum numbers as stated in section 6 of General Terms and Conditions.

24) Acknowledge this course will run for approximately 3 hours. The course will be via video conferencing. You must log into the system via the link prior to the start time to confirm your connection and set up. 26) Acknowledge all course content and payment will be from IPSF LTD which is endorsed as training provider for the IPSF.

IPSF Level 2 Certificate in Judging Training.

27) Acknowledge you must have the full prerequisite and pass the home study, practical and written tests.

28) Acknowledgeyou must have access to a computer/internet to complete the home study. This must be completed on line. You must successfully complete the quizzes before attending a face to face or online tutor led course.

29) Acknowledge that all IPSF materials and information you receive on the IPSF scoring system are sole property of the IPSF and may not be retained, distributed or copied by you.

30) Acknowledge that failure to comply with any of the above-mentioned points will be subjected to disciplinary action.

31) Acknowledge that once you have received password to the training information no refunds will be given as stated in section 20 of General Terms and Conditions.

32) Acknowledgethat courses may be refunded or transferred according to the rules stated in section 20 of General Terms and Conditions.

33) Acknowledge that IPSF Training reserves the right to move the course dates if the course has not met the minimum numbers as stated in section 6 of General Terms and Conditions.

34) Acknowledge cancellations of courses within 4 weeks of the course will result in forfeiting the course as stated in section 20 of General Terms and Conditions..

35) Acknowledge this course will be via video conferencing. You must log into the system via the link prior to the start time to confirm your connection and set up. You will need a high speed internet connection, a computer and a quiet place to take part in the course. You must be fluent in the language the course is being held in.

36) Acknowledge that IPSF Training cannot be responsible for the learners internet connection. No refunds will be given if your connection is unstable during the training. It is at the discretion of IPSF Training whether or not you can be transferred to another course.

37) Acknowledge all course content and payment will be from IPSF LTD which is endorsed as training provider for the IPSF.

38) Acknowledge this course does not insure you to teach minors you must contact insurance companies to find your own method of insurance

IPSF Level 2 Youth Coach.

1) Acknowledge you must have the full prerequisite and pass the home study, practical and written tests as well as have the minimum hours of shadow teaching.

2) Acknowledgeyou must have access to a computer/internet to complete the home study. This must be completed on line. You must successfully complete the quizzes before attending a face to face course.

3) Acknowledge that all IPSF materials and information you receive on the IPSF scoring system are sole property of the IPSF and may not be retained, distributed or copied by you.

4) Acknowledge that failure to comply with any of the above-mentioned points will be subjected to disciplinary action.

5) Acknowledge that once you have received password to the training information no refunds will be given as stated in section 20 of General Terms and Conditions.

GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS

1 DEFINITIONS 

1.1 In these Terms and Conditions of study, the following words shall have the following meanings:

a. “Training Provider” means International Pole Sports Federation - IPSF Ltd., a body endorsed by and acting under the International Pole Sports Federation (IPSF) having its administrative offices at 22, Trinity Road, Ware, Herts, SG127DB

b. “Course” means the course or programme of study to be undertaken by the student as identified on their application form and agreed to be provided.

c. “Fees” means all fees owing to the Training provider pursuant to these Terms and Conditions including, without limitation, all tuition fees, course material charges, examination and registration fees notified to the student prior to enrolment.

d. “Student” means the individual whose application for study or enrolment on the course has been accepted by the Training provider.

e. “Terms and Conditions” means these terms and conditions of study including all publishedpolicies, codes and regulations referred to herein or otherwise provided to the student, as may be amended or updated from time to time.

2 ENROLMENT 

2.1 Every student must enrol for each course and pay the fees appropriate for their course. No person shall be deemed to be an enrolled student unless:

2.1.1 they have completed and signed an application form; and

2.1.2 they have agreed to meet the liability for any applicable fees.

2.2 In signing the enrolment form the student undertakes to observe these Terms and Conditions and all published policies, codes and regulations of the Training Provider and consents to the Training Provider obtaining, recording, holding or otherwise processing personal data including data of a sensitive nature. Students are responsible for informing the Training Provider of any changes to the information provided on enrolment. All Training Provider polices, codes and regulations are also available on request.

3 WORK COMMITMENT 

3.1 Students enrolling on Courses at the Training Provider are entering into an agreement with the Training Provider to further their education and training. Students are expected to take full advantage of the opportunities for learning and study.

3.2 The Students Code of Commitment sets out what the Training Provider expects from Students; this is available in electronic form on request.

4 COMPLAINTS PROCEDURE

4.1 The Training Provider has a full procedure setting out each step for students who wish to make a complaint. IPSF Training Approved Centre Complaints and Appeals Procedures.

5 COURSE CONTENT 

5.1 Students should satisfy themselves from reading the available information that the particular course they have chosen meets their requirements before applying for and enrolling in any course. 5.2 For the avoidance of doubt, any descriptive information about courses issued by the Training Provider including, without limitation, any course brochures or prospectus are for guidance only and shall not form part of these Terms and Conditions or any agreement between students and the Training Provider.

6 CANCELLING OR CHANGING CONTENTS OF COURSES 

6.1 The Training Provider reserves the right not to run courses where the number of students is considered insufficient or where resources are unavailable or to change the contents of a course where it is considered appropriate by the Training Provider to do so.

6.2 The Training Provider shall ensure that any cancellations or changes to Courses are notified to students. In the event that a course is cancelled or changed after payment of fees has been made, the Training Provider shall offer students a suitable alternative course or a refund of fees.

7 LIMITATION OF ADMISSION TO COURSES 

7.1 The Training Provider reserves the right to refuse admission to any course because of restricted availability of facilities due to accommodation or teaching requirements or for any other reason at the Training Provider’s sole discretion.

7.2 All admission to courses is at the sole discretion of the Training Provider.

8 FEES 

8.1 All fees are payable on enrolment. Details of methods of payment can be obtained from info@polesports.org. Students who do not meet their obligation to pay fees at the commencement of their course will not be permitted to attend the course.

8.2 The Training Provider may, at its sole discretion, allow payment of fees to be made in instalments provided the balance is paid before the course commences.

8.3 Liability for fees is incurred at enrolment and the Training Provider reserves the right to suspend any student who has not paid or arranged, to the satisfaction of the Training Provider, payment of Fees within a reasonable time.

8.4 Students are referred to IPSF Training Cancellation Policy for more information regarding their entitlement to a refund in the event they decide to cancel or otherwise terminate their enrolment at the Training Provider.

8.5 No person shall be permitted to enrol as a student of the Training Provider or receive any qualification conferred by the Training Provider, unless all, if any, arrears of Fees and any other sums due to the Training Provider are paid in full or arrangements for the payment of fees have been made to the satisfaction of the Training Provider.

9 FINANCIAL MATTERS 

9.1 Studying at the Training Provider may cause students to incur different costs, for example, fees, course materials, books and equipment costs, accommodation costs, childcare fees, photocopying fees, travel expenses and daily living expenses.

9.2 Students are required to supply their own stationery and materials including the printing of course materials.

10 EQUAL OPPORTUNITIES 

10.1 The Training Provider is committed to promoting equality of opportunity for all its students and staff in all aspects of Training Provider life to ensure that no–one is discriminated against on the grounds of race, colour, religion, sex, marital status, disability, age, social position or sexual orientation (known collectively as the protected characteristics applicable to the Training Provider).

10.2 In enrolling as a student of the Training Provider, students are expected to observe and adhere to the IPSF Training Equality and Diversity Policy.

11 DISABILITY 

11.1 The Training Provider treats applications from students with disabilities on the same academic grounds as all applicants, taking into account the difficulties they may encounter.

12 CONFIDENTIALITY OBLIGATIONS 

12.1 Students may have access to information of a proprietary or confidential nature held by the Training Provider. All such information is to be treated as confidential by the student and should not be discussed or disclosed, except as may be agreed between the Training Provider and the student. Students are forbidden from seeking to access confidential information which is not directly required for their course.

13 DATA PROTECTION 

13.1 The Training Provider takes its responsibilities under the Data Protection Act 1998 seriously and respects the privacy of its students and staff. The Training Provider adopts such measures as it deems reasonable, from time to time, to ensure that all personal data is processed in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998.

13.2 Any student may apply for a copy of their information held by the Training Provider (they may be charged a small fee), or to have corrections and amendments made to their information at any time. It is the responsibility of each student to ensure that the information held by the Training Provider about them is accurate and up to date.

14 ENTIRE TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF STUDY 

14.1 These Terms and Conditions, together with the Training Provider’s policies, codes and regulations referred to and incorporated herein, represent the entire agreement between the Training Provider and the student and supersede any previous terms, policies, regulations and codes whatsoever.

14.2 These Terms and Conditions are correct at the time of going to print, but anyone wishing to ensure they have up to date information should check the Training Provider web site.

15 CHANGES TO TERMS AND CONDITIONS 

15.1 The Training Provider reserves the right to update or amend these Terms and Conditions, or any of the Training Provider policies, codes or regulations incorporated and referred to herein, at any time without notice.

15.2 Students are encouraged to regularly check the Training Provider website or contact the Information & Booking Centre for the latest version of these Terms and Conditions.

16 SEVERABILITY 

16.1 If and in so far as any part or provision of these Terms and Conditions is void or unenforceable, it shall be deemed not to be or never to have been or formed a part of these Terms and Conditions and the remaining provisions of the Terms and Conditions shall continue in full force and effect.

17 WAIVER 

17.1 The failure of the Training Provider to exercise or enforce any right conferred on it or to pursue any breach of these Terms and Conditions (and any of the Training Provider’s policies incorporated herein) shall not be deemed to be a waiver of any such right or operate to bar the further exercise or enforcement of any such rights at any time.

18 THIRD PARTY RIGHTS 

18.1 Save to the extent expressly set out herein, these Terms and Conditions are not intended to nor shall it create any rights, entitlement, claims or benefits enforceable by any person that is not a party to it.

19 GOVERNING LAW AND JURISDICTION 

19.1 These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with UK law. 19.2 Any disputes or complaints relating to these Terms and Conditions which cannot be resolved through internal Training Provider procedures referred to in Section 4 shall be heard in the UK courts, which shall have exclusive jurisdiction to settle any dispute or claim arising from these Terms and Conditions. IPSF Training Approved Centre Complaints and Appeals Procedures

We constantly strive to offer an excellent service to our customers and create effective working relationships with learners who register for qualifications. In the instance where a customer feels that we have failed to offer the level of service that they require and wishes to make a complaint the following procedure should be followed:

A registered learner may wish to: 

Complain about a service we provide (see Complaints Procedure)

Appeal against a centre-based assessment decision (see Appeals Procedure)

Make a complaint about aspects of their qualification or a centre or employee of a centre (see Complaints Procedure)

The following pages list the types of complaints/appeals that we can consider and an outline of the procedures involved. Please note that all complaints and appeals must be in writing. We are required by regulatory bodies to monitor and track complaints to identify any trends and patterns. Complaints data is also used to inform the future development of regulatory framework and to support our monitoring responsibilities.

Complaints and Appeals Procedure 

All complaints MUST be put in writing and submitted to The Coaching Manager at IPSF Training:

Customer Service Complaints 

Where centres or learners wish to make a formal complaint about any aspect of our customer service operations, the complaint should be submitted in writing and sent to IPSF Training Coaching Manager. Customer Service complaints may relate to any aspect of our administrative procedures or logistics.

The letter of complaint should clearly state the nature of and provide some indication of the rationale for the grievance. In support, details should include:

Learner’s full name

Learner registration number

Details of the qualification they are registered on (e.g. IPSF Youth Coach Level 2)

Details of the course on which they are registered (Course reference number, dates and venue)

There is no administrative charge for a customer service complaint.

Following receipt of the complaint, IPSF Training will acknowledge receipt within five working days and ask a senior member of staff to investigate. The following outcomes may result:

The results of the investigations, outcomes of the findings and a decision about the complaint will be sent to the centre or learner within 20 working days of receipt of the letter of complaint. The outcome will also be reported to relevant members of the IPSF Training Coaching team.

In the event that the complaint is found to be justified, IPSF Training will attempt wherever possible to identify the root cause and take remedial action to ensure that the situation does not arise again. It may result in a review of our internal policies to prevent recurrence.

Please note that all complaints must be submitted in writing.

Learner Appeals about Assessment Decisions 

Learners could appeal or complain to their centre about:

The centre’s administrative processes e.g. registration, claims for certification. All appeals should be made in writing and should be made within 7 days of the action or assessment decision about which they are appealing. They should be sent to the IPSF Training Coaching Manager.

The letter of complaint should clearly state the nature of and provide some indication of the rationale for the grievance. In support, details should include:

Learner’s full name

Learner registration number

Details of the qualification they are registered on (e.g. IPSF Youth Coach Level 2)

Details of the course on which they are registered (Course reference number, dates and venue)

Once an appeal has been lodged the following action will commence:

Following receipt of the complaint, IPSF Training will acknowledge receipt within five working days and a panel including the Coaching Manager, an Internal Verifier and a member the IPSF Training Board or Council will investigate. The following outcomes may result:

If the candidate is unhappy with the outcome of their appeal through the Approved Centre, they may escalate their appeal to the Awarding Body:
